Daytime cruise November 28th, all local clubs invited!
http://www.shiftin.com/showthread.php?t=92
I am organizing this meet:
Sunday November 28th will be the first daytime meet in a lonnnggg time.
Who?: Anyone and everyone!
What?: Shiftin.com daytime meet.
When?: Sunday November 28th, 1:00 PM.
Where?: Deas Island Regional Park(parking lot at the end).
Why?: Why not? Its a Sunday afternoon!
Map to Deas Island: (note: Our location is in the centre of the map(look), NOT where the red star on the map is.)

Around 1:30PM or so we will leave south from Deas Island on River Road, take the exit for Highway 99 South. After a nice cruise on the highway we'll stop at the Wendy's/Tim Hortons (152nd street exit from Highway 99) in Whiterock. After lunch we will leave south on 152nd street, then take a right on King George Highway(next light) . After taking a left on KGH we will follow that to the very end(which is a newly developed round-a-bout) and make our way east onto 8th ave from the round-a-bout. We will follow 8th Ave all the way to Cambell Valley Regional Park for a nice group photoshoot.

The whole route from Deas Island to Cambell Valley was planned with the least traffic lights/stops in mind. If you dont know where these places are, memorize it on the maps! (or print them out). That way if you get stuck behind at a redlight or if you get lost in traffic or something you will know exactly where we are going. It is inevitable, especially on the highway, that the whole group will be split into two or 3 smaller groups. Not everyone will be driving at the same speed on the highway but as long as we all know where we are going then we will be fine.
This meet will be happening RAIN OR SHINE!!!
Being 'rain or shine' gets rid of the last minute confusion if the meet is happening or not. Plus if its raining at Deas doesnt mean that it will be raining at Cambell Valley. Also, cars look good in the rain(think pictures, video's etc)
I will have my cell phone ON if anyone gets lost, needs directions, gets left behind ETC. 604-781-7787
Please make sure you know where we are going so that you dont get lost.
nono, I'm not Jared.
