If/When the STi comes here, where would it be classified in Solo2 (auto-x)? Also, how are you guys doing against DSMs, Type-R's, and the Celica GT-S in G-Stock? Sorry if this was discussed before, but search terms such as STi and WRX don't work with the search feature here. :P
Much thanks in advance, btw. :)

My guess is that the STI will not get a stock clasification. The scca tends not to give extremely rare cars with high potential favorable classifications such as the M3 light weight being in ASP.
I have done 8 events in my WRX so far. I am not the best of drivers, but I have been doing well. In my region, GS is one of the biggest classes. I have been doing well against everything except for the guys who go to national tour events. Mostly, those guys are in ITRs but there is one DSM that has kicked my but twice. He got second in GS at Ayer, MA. On the courses that flow, the WRX can take advantage of its turbo and hold its own against the TYPE Rs. One choppy courses, the six cylanders have an advantage. I have yet to compete with a DSM driven by a driver with similar skill to my own. Late event I was 5/100ths behind a ITR driven by a better driver. He only beat me after his 6th run.
Hope this helps.

Very low production is the only way it wouldn't be classed in Stock, because its performance won't be remotely close to Super Stock's performance.
