I just can't believe that the McLaren failed again. F1 started few minutes ago and at the warm up lap hakkinen failed to start. red lights and...and nothing!!! The ******* McLaren didn't even start when the McLarens staff tried to pull it to start it.
I hate so see that my country mate have worse luck than Donald Duck ever.
Crap I say...
I change my watching for rallying only.

man, mika is having a horrible season! mcclaren's reliability seems to have headed south the past two years.

with the amount of money spent in F1, you'd think they'd be able to put together the gearbox correctly. i mean, it *is* a fairly important component.
heh, maybe the conspiracy is mcclaren doesn't want to have to issue team orders, so this eliminates the need completely.

Terve Tony!
Is it it true? Another Suomilainen on the the forum? Hyvin!
I also am very sad about Hakki's bad luck. He really deserves better. Anyways, I want to see him leave McLaren and go to Williams. Norbert Haug and Ron Dennis are not my two favorite people anyhow.
I'm really excited about Kimi too, and think that he will really go places with the right car.
Don't worry Tony, we still dominate rallying, with no end in sight. Every now and then a limey wins, but usually because one of our cars broke. Tommi is still in the fight and once he gets his Evo 7 WRC (San Remo), the Prodrive bug-eye mobile and the Slocus won't have a chance.
Besides, For two years in a row we had the World Rally Champion, and the Formula One Champion. There isn't even 6 million of us! Big bad America with their 240 plus million can't even come close. Phil Hill in the 60's and that's about it. Mario Andretti doesn't actually count, because he's really Italian.
Later all and keep you Subies slideways!

Seriously, you are going to stop watching because 1 driver has technical problems? What about good racing? Does that mean nothing if Hakkinen is not there?

Terve vaan Arik:) It's nice to know here is other country mates (souls). I think there is one other Finn besides you and me. Checked from the member list one day. Or maybe it was you I found there. Yes I know that Finns do well in motor sports, but you sometimes it just makes you mad:
You watch every practice, time race and finally, after all the waiting, the real race is going to start - argued with your girl friend about spending the day inside. And what do you see, the car doesn't move an inch. You wait if the mechanics get the mercedes run, nothing. Afterwards you hear something like the gear box assembled wrong. It's just not fair. You see Erja at the pit more from TV than hakkinen driving
You live in US Arik? Well have fun with the low car taxation :)
Jlyttle: I'm going to watch the F1 even though, I raged a bit:) It means a lot less to me if Hakkinen is not there, really.
Kimi does great in F1 ones, but the car isn't competitive enough. Next year we'll see Mika Salo back in the track with the Toyota.
