I just recently got a set from kozz, 17x8 wrapped in pzero nero m+s. Took it out on a back road run (in upper maryland, miles and miles of twisties) and really beat up on it and it seem to be fine. There were many small pot holes and fallen branches. Although i have only managed to put on 1000 miles so far, the wheel are still in excellent condition. So without a doubt, i think the durability is no problem.
my 2 cent
also....the price is unreal, that everyone could agree
KOZZ TUNING 12-03-2004, 12:39 AM PM'ed ya and free bump!
PM'ed back
SonicYelloWRX 12-03-2004, 12:40 AM I drove on the A-techs all summer(4k miles) on the crappy roads of NE and they took alot of deep potholes with no damage and have held up really well. The best thing about them being so inexpensive is you can buy a couple sets.
George
Let's see some pics of these wheels on other wrx/cars! :D
Bishop 12-03-2004, 02:02 AM yes please!!

you should make sure with kozz, but if you are taking about 17x8's, they would be very close in weight to the 17x8's that fits on the normal wrx....which is a little shy of 20 pounds

When will you get some atechs in 5x114.3?
I see on their site they have a 17x7 in a 53 offset and a 18x7.5 in a 48. How about ther final speed forged in 17x7.5 and 48 offset? Or the Gear-R in 17x8 w/ 46 offset?
KOZZ TUNING 12-08-2004, 01:50 AM Sorry no plans to bring the other wheels in yet
miraclemonkeywrx 12-08-2004, 03:17 AM That flat black sparco looks so hawt! But it is a 7" wide wheel- I have 8" and I don't want to hurt performance. Please email me with any other options for the 05's on the horizon.
infinitwrx 12-08-2004, 04:21 PM if anyone sees some 18s A-tech's on a wrb wrx can you post it please

Derk1127 12-09-2004, 09:36 PM i have 225s on the car rite now and they rub in the rear

DubuRX 12-13-2004, 03:47 PM How is the quality and strength of these? I'm looking into getting into SCCA road racing, and would need a wheel that can take the abuse.
KOZZ TUNING 12-13-2004, 03:57 PM they can take it
its a strong wheel
infinitwrx 12-14-2004, 12:42 AM what type of credit cards do you accept. i plan to buy my tires cash and my rims by credit card

KOZZ TUNING 12-16-2004, 04:23 PM thanks Lee I will do a photoshoot of the car this weekend give people a better look

So they are 17x8 with 235/4017. What is the offset? Do they rub at all?
Would 235/45/17 with these 17x8 wheels rub on our cars?
Does a 235/45 tire square up nice on an 8" wheel or do the tires look like they are trying to fit the wheel? I don't like the look of a tire that is too small for the wheel.
infinitwrx 12-19-2004, 02:19 AM can any other center caps be put on to fill in the holes on the a techs
KOZZ TUNING 12-20-2004, 01:29 PM IM sure we can find something

KOZZ TUNING 12-20-2004, 02:55 PM the 235 fits perfact on the rim
if you go 235-40-17 there is no rubbing at all you might get some rubbing if you go to a 235-45-17 but it should also fit fine
Clement 12-21-2004, 03:46 AM Which bronze and black is it for the Racing Sparcos?
I went to the official Japanese site and they have two blacks and two bronzes.

KOZZ TUNING 12-22-2004, 12:20 AM with in 2 days depending on tire availability. lugs are $40 bucks extra for gorilla spline lock lugs and yes they will fit over subaru 4 puts since the 17x8 fit over my stoptech kit you will not have a problem

Caboobaroo 12-22-2004, 12:16 PM I have to agree with a lot of people. Those rims look pimpin! 17x7's would probably fit my black '89 Subaru RX very nicely with no rubbing. Would you plan on having a set of these for about a month until I can come up with some bling? I'm going to be buying some rims here very soon and these are a steal for the price!
chrSTIan 12-22-2004, 12:52 PM any pictures with 18sAtech on 04wrx/sti , I might get a set of 18s in Bronze..

CGM_WRX 01-10-2005, 03:33 PM yes we will have more in a few weeks
Cool, thanks.
Do you have a website for the tires you offer? Good summer tires for spirited driving. :p
From the other posts in this thread it looks as if 235/40's are a good fit for the 17x8's on an 04-05 WRX? How much affect will this have on the speedo vs 45 series?
What lugs are on your car, are they offered in black? Sorry for all the questions, I skimmed most of the thread to try and cut down on the redundant ones.
Thank you for your time.

Thank you for your time.
the lugs are RAYS DURALUMINUM 130$ a set
speed differance with the wheels isnt very much there are a few speed calculators online and you can find out with that
as for the 40-45 series the 45 serious on a regular wrx there might be some clearance issues
edoublepo 01-10-2005, 08:32 PM Kozz,
Your Company Needs To Communicate Better With Your Customers. Ive Pm'd You Several Times And Tried To Call. There Is Never Any Answer Regardless Of The Time Or Day. I Payed For Wheels And Suddenly You Guys Seem To Disappear. I Never Recieved A Tracking Number And It Took 2 Weeks To Recieve The Wheels, When I Was Promised 2-3 Days.

KOZZ TUNING 01-11-2005, 01:26 PM no sorry 48 is the lowest
heavyDOODIE 01-13-2005, 08:58 PM you wouldn't happen to have a pic of the fno1's mounted on a wrx, would you?
i just want to see how that offset sits in the wheelwell.
drale954 01-15-2005, 07:32 AM What rims do you have in a 18x8.5 that would fit an 04 STI? Please list prices and wheels. Thanks
lildragn11 01-17-2005, 10:06 PM Do you have anymore 17x7" Bronze A-tech erasors in stock, offset? How much shipped? How for a package deal with 215/45/17 Pirelli P-zero M+S tires shipped? Does the tire/rim package come mounted and balanced??

I have been doing a lot of reading on these rims and can't seem to find a answer to whether the 17x8 Erasors with 235/40/17 would rub or not. It seem as though they would not even with a lowered car.

I asked the same question to Kozz, he pm'd me and said that is the same setup he runs on his car (the white wrx in the picture on the first page) and it doesn't rub. He does have coilovers though so he might be running negative camber.
I've only seen one other car with the a-tech 17x8's but they were running 225's w/ no rubbing.
I guess maybe I will have to be the guinea pig on this one. I have eibach pro kit so my car isn't that low.
Dan
fantabulous 02-02-2005, 09:15 PM I did recieve my wheels. But was sad to find out they dont fit the 04 STi correctly.
what size did you get? what did you do to get them to fit?
Genya 02-02-2005, 11:59 PM I got the 18x7.5 +48 offset. I will be using a 10mm hubcentric eibach spacer(Which was a pain to locate). It is possible it MAY work with a 5mm but it looked a bit close definately did not work with a 3mm spacer. Two threes together seemed to clear.
fantabulous 02-03-2005, 12:18 AM i dont think we are talking about the same wheel. sorry, im looking for the a-tech 17x8. id like someone who has them to confirm that these fit over the brembos. thanks

Caboobaroo 02-07-2005, 02:22 PM yeah now I'm kinda glad I didn't get rims from him either since it appears he has decided to be 'out of contact' or having 'technical issues' anymore. Hope you guys can get your money or rims from him...

And those are the only offset they come in in that size. I believe the 18s have a different offset.
