I just recently got a set from kozz, 17x8 wrapped in pzero nero m+s. Took it out on a back road run (in upper maryland, miles and miles of twisties) and really beat up on it and it seem to be fine. There were many small pot holes and fallen branches. Although i have only managed to put on 1000 miles so far, the wheel are still in excellent condition. So without a doubt, i think the durability is no problem.

my 2 cent

also....the price is unreal, that everyone could agree

I drove on the A-techs all summer(4k miles) on the crappy roads of NE and they took alot of deep potholes with no damage and have held up really well. The best thing about them being so inexpensive is you can buy a couple sets.

Cool, thanks.

Do you have a website for the tires you offer? Good summer tires for spirited driving. :p

From the other posts in this thread it looks as if 235/40's are a good fit for the 17x8's on an 04-05 WRX? How much affect will this have on the speedo vs 45 series?

What lugs are on your car, are they offered in black? Sorry for all the questions, I skimmed most of the thread to try and cut down on the redundant ones.

Thank you for your time.

the lugs are RAYS DURALUMINUM 130$ a set
speed differance with the wheels isnt very much there are a few speed calculators online and you can find out with that

as for the 40-45 series the 45 serious on a regular wrx there might be some clearance issues

Dan

I asked the same question to Kozz, he pm'd me and said that is the same setup he runs on his car (the white wrx in the picture on the first page) and it doesn't rub. He does have coilovers though so he might be running negative camber.

I've only seen one other car with the a-tech 17x8's but they were running 225's w/ no rubbing.

I got the 18x7.5 +48 offset. I will be using a 10mm hubcentric eibach spacer(Which was a pain to locate). It is possible it MAY work with a 5mm but it looked a bit close definately did not work with a 3mm spacer. Two threes together seemed to clear.
