I've had this persistent noise coming from the rear of my 96L on deceleration. I've had it since I swaped in RS struts/springs about a year ago. It sounds like something is smacking the spring immediately after letting off the gas for 3-5 seconds. Sounds like it's coming from the passanger side rear strut. Since I swapped the RS struts a year ago everything had been replaced with AGX/Eibach/STi tops. I've ruled out the supension being the cause so now I'm
thinking the rear diff.

Allmost everything in the car has been replaced/swaped with WRX or STi parts and the noise is still there. The only driveline part that's orginal is the rear diff, subframe, and axles. Is it possible to have the rear diff make so much noise and still work?.
