NJ and NY are pretty known for scooby thefts, so when I install my UTEC I plan to leave it on the anti-theft map. But, I do not want to place my remote switich in plain view, so that if someone stole it, they would know just to cycle through the maps to start the car. Does anyone know of a good place to hide the switch, but still easily accessible?
If anyone does not want to reveil their secrets, just PM me.
Thanks in advance,
Jerome

...my friend  has his utec switch installed in his driver side door pocket. It's the perfect hiding spot and probably the last place on earth anyone would think to look if they were trying to steal your car. It's also super easy to switch back and forth between the maps from the driver seat. Hope this helps... :)

Snake the wire under the dashboard and lock the switch in the glovebox.
Or, better yet, I remember someone selling a remote switch a long time ago that required a key to operate... might want to check that out.

Put it behind the center console. Right behind the HVAC controls - leave it there, and pull it out when you need to use it.

Maybe in the center console inside on a corner... I might do this.

yeah, he stopped selling those. that would be the best option.
it looks to be pretty easy to remove from the blank. maybe a custom mounting location is in the works. also, a very easy way to keep people from taking the car is a fuel pump kill switch, it's also very easy to construct.
