I'm not making fun of the 2.5RS here. (I really like them. All generations of them.) I just think it's kinda weird how they went from the top of the heap to the bottom in a matter of a few years. I guess that really speaks about the changing dynamic of the Subaru lineup (and automobiles in general) over that time.

if it makes you feel any better i drive a ZR2, the king of the heap of S10s, the bigger 4wd version, different frame and all, and now the 4cyl chevy trackers have the zr2 sticker now that the s10 got replaced. thats evil. pure evil.

They still make 1.6L Imprezas for other countries IIRC.
