Hey everyone! I have 2003 wrx and I recently just bought Unichip from my friend 2002 wrx. We basically got the exact the same set up (TBE,uppipe,MBC and STIintercooler). We installed it in to my car and it ran perfectly fine, the Gain is very noticeble but the only problem is it give me CEL.

I did research and found out that the harness is not compatible or something like that. Should I be worry that the CEL is there? what should I do ? Help.

Did you pull the code for the CEL?

It is more than likely the 02vs.03 difference, I forget which wire it is but the 03's do not have it.

Same CEL is thrown when you use an 02 UTEC in an 03 car.

Pull the code, and tell us what it is!

Thanks for the advice . I will go to Autozone tomorrow and I will keep it update. But even if you say its because one of the wire, is there any solution to this?

IIRC there is a way to rewire it... search for something like 'O2 UTEC CEL' or something along those lines.

Yep it's P1446 but with two code. I got 2 code with the same number :confused: The post that send me earlier about how to resolve it, do you happen to know if he ever get the CEL again.

I would reset the ECU and see what code it comes back with. Seems like its just the same code, but twice, right?

As for the guy who did the fix, try to PM him ;)
