I have been searcing for hours now and heve yet to find what I need to know. I want add my turbo back exhaust, Walbro fuel pump, VF34 turbo and I want to Modify my Injectors, all on my 03'. What I would like to find out is if I cut the caps on my injectors and make it flow over 800cc is that going to be to much even after I use the VF34 map from COBB.

YES it will be way too much.. A map that is designed to run rich with 565cc injectors used to run 800cc is a bad idea. Your injectors will be dumping at least 41% extra fuel throughout your whole powerband using a cobb map.

What would you suggest I do, just get the Pink Injectors or is there someone out there that can modify mine to flow what I need. I just hate to have to spend $400 to $600 dollars when I could hopefully get it done cheaper.

Cheese and Rice dude. Get off the wallet for the $400 injectors or you will be buying a new $2000 motor. This isn't something you can take a shortcut on. :furious:

Hell I figured if I could find an injector that worked just as well as a $400 set I would try. So I guess there is no option, but thanks for the info.

I too found it silly to pay $400 for 565cc STi injectors (I heard they are the same injectors as the stock WRX, but with bigger holes in the endcap) when I could get what I needed in 15 minutes with a dremel tool. I'm not a seasoned tuner by any means but I modded mine 4 months ago and I've driven the car to work every (week)day since. No change in mileage or drivability.....though my tires seem to have worn extremely fast since then :)
One other thing - I have a UTEC, which made things quite simple.

Unfortunatly with the cobb you will have to get the pinks. Modded injectors can only be used if you have some way to manage the extra fuel.

^^What he said. If you are gonna stick with Cobb, either get the pinks or you can wait for the cobb street tuner. Its due to come out summer/fall 2004:lol:

2 options:

Buy Pinks for your Cobb
Buy a UTEC or equiv... Hydra AEM etc

and if you do mod your injectors it is a good idea to have them flow tested. My buddy modded his injectors and wasn't running the same flow value for all of them. i would go with the pink (no sexual inuendo intended) especially if you plan on running teh cobb map.
