I just installed exedy clutch and ACT flywheel streetlite12.5lbs. ALso added colder step plugs for running higher boost. Do i need to retune the utec to get more power or to smooth it out? The turbo spools faster and at high speed i get a code obd 2 po546 high exhaust temps. will my time get better on the 1/4mile? thanks

No need to retune. You didn't change anything that matters really. You could maybe run an extra degree or 2 of timing that is it.
The p0546 is because your factory EGT sensor is dead. If you have a catless uppipe remove the sensor and do the resistor mod. If you still have the factory uppipe remove it immediately before it breaks apart more and goes thru your turbo.

I doubt your turbo spools any faster as you made no change in the UTEC, or to your exhaust system.

Why could he run a degree of of timing or 2 just from a clutch flywheel and plugs. Plus 2 degrees of timing is huge to just throw in there.

Colder plugs are less prone to detonation.

Sorry for the late response. Well before the clutch, flywheel, colder plugs. I have a stage 4 fmic vf30 turboxs. I noticed the response of the turbo as well as the car itself. Turbo spools faster and rpms do to. With the plugs i noticed a smoother car maybe caused by flywheel. I was running 17.5 psi in 4th gear. But now in 4th i stay at 18psi and in 5th i mashed it and get 19psi it felt good and smooth. I want to take to the track. I think i can get 1-2 degrees now with the flywheel and plugs. thanks What are my estimated times in 1/4 mile. In the 12's maybe?

Do i have to replace my sensor or just put in resistor mod? I have no cat. How do i do that mod? thanks

Plug the hole with a M12x1.25 bolt less than an inch long (cut if necessary) & use a 2.2k ohm 1/2 watt resistor where the sensor plugged into. Tape over the resistor to keep it from falling out. There is no reason to replace the seonsor since it will just fail again in a catless environment.
If you're not in the 12s you suck at driving. ;)
