Does anybody have a review or have had experiences with www.suvlights.com? I was going to buy a heavy duty headlight wire harness for my headlights, but want some opinions as to whether or not they are any good, or if suvlights's service is recommendable and reliable. Thanks.

I just bought a HD harness from them. I received my harness within a week of placing my ordering. :cool: :)

I ordered a harness a while ago, it took a month. He said he had hand surgery. I was ok with it, he gave me a free upgrade.

I recently ordered some bulbs, I got no response, so I called. He says he has personal problems, and can't ship them out. I was polite and said it was ok, then he went off on me saying, if he didnt have to answer the phone and email he could be sending stuff out. He was a tiny bit rude.

the prices are ok, but so far I haven't had anything shipped out right away.

I spoke to him the other day too and received the same basic answer and attitude you received. IMO, personal problems or not, it's a bad way to run a business.

Well, my experience with this vendor has been terrible.

First, I ordered the Osram silverstar lamps for my FXT, and I hear nothing. About 10 days later, I email them, and they tell me that they shipped out my order, but that they used GE megalight +60 in place of the Osram Silverstar +50. Freaking great! Thanks for telling after you shipped them! Ok i think no big deal, and would give the GE a shot. Another week, and still nothing. I email again and they say that it was shipped like 2 weeks ago, but they will ship another order again if I want (fishy- what vendor would ship out 2 orders and count on me, the purchaser to ship back the duplicate, if I ever get it). I tell them to do so, and here we are, another week gone by. Still nothing! Almost a month now, and still nothing, not even the crappy GEs that I didn't want anyway!

DONT USE THIS VENDOR!!! THEY SUCK, and I'm out $$$ and TIME! :furious: :mad: :(

Well I searched this forum for a review on SUVLights.com and found 2 existing threads with similar negative responses. I just wanted to add my name to the list.

I never ordered anything from them because I wound up getting a rude response to my email asking for a total on 3 pairs of bulbs including shipping). Short, short version: "You do the math." Not the best way to attract customers. If anyone wants to see the emails I will post them, but in short - I'm not impressed!

Still waiting for the last response if I get any. If I'm overreacting by not buying anything from these people ever - do let me know!! But I don't feel that I'm really out of line or said anything to warrant that kind of response, but again, maybe it's just me. :)

In the meantime I sent my order in to Daniel Stern Lighting (http://www.danielsternlighting.com) today... I think I'll do better with him.

Haha.. you wouldn't have to send 5 emails back and forth if he would have JUST ANSWERED YOU CORRECTLY in the beginning.

EDIT: I'm not trying to tarnish whatever reputation this place has here, if anyone has had good experiences - good for them. I just wanted to vent my frustrations and get some feedback on the deal. :)

Well, make sure to post a response about Daniel Stern Lighting once you get your stuff from him.
