ScoobyMods.com
12-07-2004, 10:48 PM
Made by Fulcrum Technologies, the same company that makes the Whiteline Bushings. The polyurethane bushing kit replaces the stock soft rubber bushings for quicker steering response. These will fit the MY98+ WRX/Impreza RS&TS/STi. These are the same 30mm style as the Whitelines, just much cheaper. Will not fit the MY05 STi.

Steering Rack Bushings (http://www.kastleskorner.com/store/product_info.php?products_id=1262) -- $18.99+ shipping . The super special on them is over... :( Still a great price tho :)

seems to be a mistake in the copy and paste?

ScoobyMods.com

Correct, bad copy / paste. It's new and it is $100 + shipping. Been sitting here for a few months collecting dust, thus the low low price.

Perfect timing for the sale on the steering bushings. I was just looking to buy one. ^_^

I don't know the history on these so forgive the ignorance... does the 30mm mean thety fit without issue? I was sold some used RS Whitline bushings and the smaller one wasn't quite wide enough for the WRX steering rack mount on my car.

Thanks,
-Mike.

WUU HUUU...Just placed my order. Better jump on these before he runs out again.

Kastle, the links you have for the whiteline steering rack bushings and the rear diff bushings seem to be backwards.

The old style bushings, KSR200, were designed for the JDM market cars. They do not fit on the USDM cars due to the right side's bushing being too short (25mm JDM vs. 30mm USDM).

Any steering bushings for the new 05 LegacyGTs?

Nothing as of yet AFAICT. I'd imagine if Whiteline release some for the MY05 STi, that would cover the Legacy as their steering racks (AFAIK) are fairly similar in design.

And that answers my question. :D

i jsut isntalled my kit today... took me one hour 10 minutes. battled rusty bolts, but install was pretty strait forward.

intial observations. i drove it around the parking lot and noticed ntohing at all. but when i started turning side to side harder, it definately stopped ****ign around and steering responce was excellent. on the way home, while driving at higher speeds, the steering definately seemed sharper. no bull****, no plecebo. there is a difference. and i liek it. best feedback mod for 25 bux :)

What's the difference between the Whiteline & Fulcrum steering bushings?

I understand that they make the bushings for Whiteline but you specifically say it is the same STYLE as the whiteline ones not the same exact product.
