Im confused about the whole gauge and lighting. I know the lunar series is lit with the phosphorus. What about the other lines of gauges? Are any of them lit? Thanks for any help.

www.egauges.com , which sells gauges of different types & brands, describes how each gauges are lit. Afaik, most Autometer gauges are at the very least backlit, i.e. the numbers on the gauge face are slightly translucent and light up when the gauge is lit. Some gauges (like VDO's High Visibility series) have a lit needle as well.

Imho, it's a nice site in that you can find such info in 1 place, and their prices are quite reasonable too.

Yeah, I've actually got one from SummitRacing sitting on my counter right now. Their website isn't as helpful as egauges, though. Cheers. :)
