I'm dynoing my relatively stock 96 SVX L (awd) at Altered Atmosphere in Gaithersburg, MD this comming Wednesday (12/15). From the factory, SVXs have an engine rating of 230hp and 228 ft-lbs. The stock WRX is pretty close in hp to the SVX, and I wanted to see if anyone here has any idea what the hp and tq to the wheels are for an automatic WRX?

Only engine mod on my SVX is an STI panel filter. Other than that, I've swapped out the stock 3.55 trans and rear diff, for a 4.11 Impreza trans & limited-slip Legacy rear diff (gearing however has no effect on dyno #'s). My best 1/4 mile to date is 15.327 @ 89.54 which is listed on the scoobymile.com

Thanks! :)

My car made 165.1hp and 173.4 ft-lbs at the wheels on the awd dynojet at Altered Atmosphere in Gaithersburg, MD.

Per Jason Porter, an '02-'03 4EAT WRX makes about 162hp at the wheels, while an '04+ makes 168hp (on a dynapack).
