My battery has been crapping out on me, so I went to Cosco and bought a Kirkland Signature #3 battery. The only spec on that thing was the cold start amps (something like 600). But, that's not what I'm particularly interested in.

I want to know the reserve capacity of the battery, which I haven't been able to find out online anywhere...and compare it to the reserve capacity of the oem battery.

Reason being is that I'm in the car a lot listening to the radio (w/ 500 watt amp) and/or watching movies for an hour or so at a time. This may be what ended up killing my oem, so I'm concerned the Kirkland's reserve won't be enough for what I'm interested in.

If anyone know's the specs to the Kirkland battery I mentioned, and/or the oem I'd appreciate it.

You're going to need a Yellow Top Optima for that. Repeated discharging of any standard lead-acid battery, regardless of what the reserve capacity is, will damage it. The Optima is specifically made for this type of use.

I asked a simple question. If all you have is a lameass flame based on YOUR understanding of my life, then there's no need to waste your time or the internet bandwidth.

Thank you...Mulder.
