Hi I have a 60mm electronic greddy boost gauge w/ peak recall, and one of the light bulbs that illuminate the face is blown.

I took out the blown bulb and I was wondering can i bring it to autozone/radioshack and try to find a replacement or do I have to go with an orignal greddy replacement bulb?

does anyone the difference b/w greddy replacement bulbs 15401521(Light Bulb Replacement Warning gauge) and 16400061(Light Bulb Replacement Electronic gauge)?

I'd rather get a generic bulb because i figure it'll be alot cheaper. The greddy bulbs cost 8 and 3 dollars respectively.

which replacement bulb should I get? and what is the difference b/w the two?

anyone every have to replace their blown bulbs? and if so what kind of bulb did you use? thanks

I would say go to radio shack. You would probably have the best luck there. I doubt you could find one at an autoparts store. After all, it's not like greddy makes their own bulbs, they buy from a supplier and then install them in their own gauges.

sucks huh? i havent tried radioshack yet.. did you check there? did you check any online light bulb retailers?

Do you also have the 60 mm warning gauge? the bulb looks like proprietary stuff....not a normal looking bulb because of the weird blue base huh?

i checked everywhere no one has them, I found them online but they want 3 for the bulb plus 11 for shipping. I think the shipping is rediculous but what are you going to do.

Bump for an old thread as I'm experiencing this with my boost and EGT gauges. Any updates? PM'd you, too, subalou1 :)

Update on this thread. The site subalou1 referred to wasn't in service when I called and their email order page was b0rked. I found another site that's relatively cheaper. Here's the link (middle of the page - Part # 16400061):

http://www.sportcompactonly.com/product.aspx?p=101072&pg=3

The price of the bulbs is about the same, but the shipping is a few bucks cheaper. They supposedly have the bulbs drop-shipped from GReddy. Should get them in 7-10 business days. Come to find out, there are two bulbs to each of my gauges (boost and EGT), and I needed to replace three out of four of them. I just went ahead and ordered four :)

FYI - The stupid trim rings to these gauges are a pain to take off and install :furious:
