Hey All,
I just picked up my 2005 STI from KTR performance. I had it tuned on their Dyno Dynamics after installing ECUtek, PE-850 injectors, Walbro fuel pump, GT spec headers with JetHot 2000 coating, Borla STI catback exhaust, and Daddy's SCP down-pipe with hi-flow cat. The car on their dyno put down 275.7 WHP and an amazing 315 ftlb. of torque at ~3700 rpm. Franz at KTR told me that he could put an extra ~20WHP if I ran no CATS and he tuned it slightly more aggressively. I'm figuring that my car would have dyno'd ~10-13% higher on a dynojet giving me around 300+ WHP and 345+ wheel torque with no turbo upgrade. My car spikes to ~ 18 psi and settles down after 4000 rpm. I'm actually planning on a superzilla turbo upgrade with an external wastegate and FMIC in the spring. For now I'm very happy with the results.
I'll try to post the Dyno plot. I'm looking forward to taking it to the track.
Later. :)
