Lol, sorry for the gay title.. but I was just curious (and i know this prob. isnt the correct forum for this question, but what the heck). What are the drawbacks from being oil-cooled only? I know that you need to let the car idle for a little while before turning it off, but other than that? Is there any way I can make my turbo oil + water cooled?

I have an 04 WRX with HKS TBE, HKS up-pipe, TXS intake, TXS UTEC (tuned by Junior, putting down 241 hp/tq). What would you all suggest I go with? PE650's or STi Pinks? I only want to put down about 290 whp is this enough for a VF22? because I know that the VF series turbos are weak wheni t comes to high HP and they're already wheezing when around 300 HP. I want a turbo that can meet my expectations and still have some left.

I've also heard these turbos are tranny killers, but I dont abuse my car. I drive smooth as butter :) . I only want this turbo for top-end because thats where the real fun is @. Also, what do you think I'll be running in the ¼ mile with this setup? I'll also be going to FMIC later on, but since its winter season, I wont need it.

Thanks for looking, Merry Christmas!

Any of the bigger (if you want to call those peashooters 'big') can make 300whp. By bigger I mean VF30/23/22/39.

For the other questions, if you search the 2.0 forum or this one you'll find about 2 billion duplicates of this very same post, albeit with a different username. :)

Sorry, and I know how much it annoys me when people ask the same questions... I'll do a search...

Sorry for bothering..
