2000 RS coupe with 33,000 miles on it. Decent set of options and all... What do you folks think a fair price to pay would be?

I would say around 15,000 maybe even less. I bought a 01 with 7 miles on it for 18,817. If you can still find a 01, you can probably get a good deal on it. There are a lot of 99-01's for sale because of people wanting to get WRX's so you should be able to get a really good price for one.

check out www.edmunds.com and price the car there. They usually have a good handle on the actual value of the car. FWIW I had a my00 with 16k and was offered 15k trade in on it, so I think the retail or private sale would be higher...
