I was wondering if anyone here has had experience replacing wheel bearings using the Hub Tamer by OTC Tools. I haven't been able to come up with any results searching for it by name on the forum. It looks like it would be a good investment, as buying it and the bearing/seals would seem to come out about even with what it would cost to have a wheel bearing replaced in a shop. That way, my dying wheel bearing is replaced and I then have the equipment for another day. The only questions I have are whether or not you need any additional tools like a hub puller to remove the hub from the bearing, and anything else for installing the new seals. I'm just getting off the ground with my automotive tool collection, so I'm trying to survey what a wheel bearing replacement would require.

Here's the cheapest source I could find for the Hub Tamer:

Does anyone own this one?

It seems to have more adapters and I would have more of a chance of takeing it out and being able to use it on one of the four cars I have that have 2 or 4 of those bearings.
