I changed my oil last night, and it looks like I'm about 1/3 qt. too full. The oil line is a bit past the 2nd dot on the dipstick -- but the distance past the 2nd dot is less than half the distance b/t the 1st and 2nd dot.

Will this small overfill be a problem? I don't feel like draining and refilling the oil. Thanks.

You should be fine. Many people empty the contents of a 5 qt jug of their favorite oil into the crankcase when doing an oil change for the sake of getting rid of the huge jug.
