Does anyone know how to set up the drag launch feature? I assumed that you would just be able to set it, and begood to go, but i think there is more to it than that. It seems like you would need to run a wire from the hydra to the clutch sensor in order for the hydra to know that you are wanting to launch.. lol.. Any help or what ever would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

It's triggered by some pin on the ECU. I know with the MR2 Hydra they sell a "launch control cable". The input for the launch control actuator may be something that needs to be enabled by the Hydra dealer, I'm not sure.

you are going to have to set the launch request in the I/O tab of the settings menu.

The Hydra has 6 Aux inputs. These inputs can be mapped to control various things by setting the drop down menu.

I'm not sure about your map, but on the one I have been working on Launch request was set to Aux input 3, and AC high request was set to Aux input 5. If you wanted a quick solution and don't have AC, you could use the AC button as your launch request toggle, or find the wire which the AC button connects to and rewire it to a switch for your launch control.

I would check to make sure that your AC button input to the hydra is working by going to view/panal and seeing if the AC lights up when you push the AC button in the car.

If its working, you can go back to your I/O menu and change "AC high request" in the drop down menu to "Launch High Request".

Then Hydra will run your launch control setting when the AC button is pushed in.

You could obviously run Launch Control off any other AUX input, but as out wiring harnesses don't seem to be wored for them as we get it you will have to get some cables from Hydra or Phil and the right locations of the connector for Aux inputs.

Hitokiri has the winning post. Set any request signal to engage the launch control and it will dump into the main fuel map following engagement.
