Anyone successfully order a subaru spoiler after purchashing a WRX?

Ive asked a couple dealers about how long it takes etc...and got a wide variety of "I dont knows" one dealer even said that subaru is re-designing the spoiler cause the current one wouldnt stay on good or something (dunno if I believe him or not)

So Im wondering anyone have any experience with ordering a spoiler thru the dealer ?

most should have them in August. don't let them charge you too much though

Said theyd charge me the 395 like if I ordered it with the car and install it for free...thought that was pretty cool of em,...just got to make sure they are available now

I got my car on May the 15th and I just got my spoiler installed today. :rolleyes:

I got my WRX on March 17th, and I'm still waiting for my spoiler :(
Dealer says they should be here 2nd week of July. What really gets to me is that I've been paying interest for almost 4 months on something I don't even own yet :mad:
I'm going to write Subaru of America and ask for the interest to be paid back to me.

ask for less than 395 if you can. It only costs them 287 or so, so maybe you can work out a deal since you bought the car from them.

Th eintrest that you are paying on the spoiler is nothing compared to the intrest on the rest of the car itself. i do not think that argument will work, try getting a better price just for the fact that you have had to wait for it.
Plus when the do put it on make sure that they anchor the wing to the rear deck lid. A friend of mine has an 02 and the rear wing has been anchored to the deck lid with cable to insure it frome flying off.
