you guys may have already done this, but for those that haven't, it helps keep you cool. (esp in florida :cool: ) if you're driving by yourself and you want to get the most out of your a/c, close the vent next to the passenger side window on the front dash. the force of 4 vents is now in 3 vents = more powerful a/c. you can really notice the difference when you have it on full power and just the dash vents opperating. when i first got the wrx i was a little disapointed with the a/c, but now with this little 'mod' and tinted windows, i stay plenty cool.. later

That and a/c works wonders on fogged over windows.. just turn on the heat and a/c at the same time and set it to defrost... clear in no time.. :)

To clarify:

Defrost mode: Turn AC on, press defrost switch.

Leave at the coolest setting, no need to adjust anything else. Your windows should begin defogging immediatly.

This is a wonderful idea that none of my other cars have had...... especially down here with all the humidity it is a must-have.

Florida WRX: I got all my windows tinted dark, but get this...

subymamma: how did you get your winshield tinted? every place i checked wouldnt do it, although now i kinda like it clear, but they wouldnt' even put a clear uv coat on it to keep the rays out. its illegal and all. .... ill warn you though, if you get into an accident, your insurance prob wont cover the damage if you have your front window tinted or if your other windows are tinted too dark.. here in florida soooo many people have tints that are too dark for insurance to cover, lets hope for their sake they dont get into an acciedent.
