Hey everyone, love subarus and have had a 99 RS and now a 98 Outback Sport with a WRX conversion and am tryin to gather parts to be able to do a "Stage 4" and get it mapped by PDX Tuning. Im stoked for this to hopefully happen, but ive heard different things about Tranny problems. Ive heard stock trannys can hold around 300 whp, and other people say im gonna blow all my gears out. I have an STi Unsprung race clutch in there now. Is a "stage 4" motor with a race clutch going to be hell on my tranny, or will it hold up? Sorry for the ramblin' and thanks for any help.

It depends on how you drive the car and treat the tranny. But in all likelyhood it will blow.
