I have read the FAQ on plugs and still can't get a solid answer. I have a question for 2 cars.

My wife has a STAGE 2 2005 Legacy GT. Would a colder plug be a good idea? If so which one? Part #s? Iridium? And what do I need to gap it too?

Stock temp for both. Stock gap for both. Plat for long change intervals, copper for shorter change intervals, just say no to iridium.

Ron....the stock plugs for the EJ257/EJ255 are iridium and iridium is a MUCH better conductor than platnium.

I have had IK-22's in my car for a LONG time without any issue.

I thought also that if you had Stage 2 or more that you wanted a colder plug. Is this true?

....only if you are using a good bit more boost.

My favorite Uncle....while you are technically correct, I must disagree.

Iridium plugs are more expensive and add zero HP.
Platinum plugs are cheaper and add zero HP.

...actually....an iridium plug, that is electrically a better conductor, will yeild a better spark...and iridium is harder and has a higher melting point than platnium and therefore should last longer......soooooo....60k mile plugs or 90k mile plugs....you pick ;)

Don't forget that plugs like to become one with the head if you leave them in too long.
