I did a quick search but found nothing usefull on how much the stock clutch is capable of holding? I just put in a stock STi clutch I had after my aftermarket clutch couldn't hold the power and it is doing worse than I expected
As soon as I hit 4k rpm it lets the engine rpm flare like an auto with low fluid. I know it wasn't gonna hold but I didn't think it would be this bad
This is on my pump gas tune too 380WHP

Its not the clutch as much as it is the pressure plate. You need a higher clamping force pressure plate. You need to call some clutch manufacturers and ask them for the clamping force of their pressure plate, and get the highest one you can find. I have over 50 passes on my stock clutch. I am making about 50hp less then you. Also a taller final gear ratio puts less strain on your clutch.

I wanna say I hear 400hp, but that may be at the crank.

Uh, I have a Hypercarbon Twin so I am a bit pissed cause it is a racing clutch and should very well have enough clamping pressure. Or had a Hypercarbon, now I went with a stocker for the downtime on the clutch rebuild.
That and I have a 3:90 final gear ratio so unless you have a set of RA 4:44 gears I don't think your gonna get to much deeper a final drive
405 at the wheels should be around 500 or more at the crank so I wasn't expecting the stocker to hold to long but it was slip right off the bat :(

For what you spent on that clutch you almost could have swapped your 3.90 final for a 4.44. A puck clutch with a high clamp pressure plate will easy hold 400whp.
You are letting these clutches break in before you glaze them with your superior hp right?

A puck clutch is worthless. Yeah it holds but it breaks drivetrain parts like there is no tomorrow. I still have a R160 rear and went carbon because it doesn't shock things near as badly as a metalic or puck style clutch.
I put at least 500 miles on the clutch and there was no glazing on it when it came out. Just plenty of colors of blue on the steel parts in the clutch. So now I have to wait for them to do a warranty rebuild and see what happens next.
The 4:44 gears are worthless for me as I have my car settup so I only have to shift into 4th in the traps. If I went with the 4:44's I would be making more shifts and that I do not want to do unless I absolutely have too. That and I don't think they have those gears for the 6 speed trans either do they
