About a year ago, a few tuners were working on getting the AEM to work on the STI, but I think interest in the product may have been less than expected. Does anyone know if anyone got the AEM to work on the STI?

Does anyone know if anyone got the AEM to work on the STI? Bishop 01-04-2005, 04:23 AM are you talkin about AEM's engine management? hatchy 01-04-2005, 02:38 PM are you talkin about AEM's engine management? SOrry, I should have been more specific. Yes, the engine mgmt. T3RMIN4L 01-05-2005, 01:39 AM are you talkin about AEM's engine management? in his defense this IS the engine management and tuning forum unless it was moved in which case I stand corrected. =] Bishop 01-05-2005, 02:00 AM hhhmm don't remember if it was posted here or in general. sorry if it was posted here. anyway, i went to the aem site and didn't find anything for the sti regarding aem's ems. T3RMIN4L 01-05-2005, 02:11 AM isht happens... aems has been quiet with this product but i bet itll apear whence you least expect it. STi-MAN 01-05-2005, 02:41 AM yea i wonder whats taking them soo long. hatchy 01-05-2005, 03:04 AM I guess the answer is no.. oh well. engineerx 01-05-2005, 03:25 AM Yes - I heard about the AEM standalone.... I thought they were still working on that.... 0db 01-05-2005, 04:23 AM They don't seem to be making a ton of progress... I believe the valve timing setup is the biggest issue; electronic throttle control isn't too hard. Considering the VERY low acceptance of the AEM system in the "regular" *HIGH VOLUME* wrx market (I use it and can't find many people to compare notes with), they're probably not putting much energy into the much lower-volume STi. |
