I am getting ready to purchase a turbo or turbo system for my 2004 USDM STi and i need to know if i was to purchase a Ultimate Racing Turbo kit which uses a GT30 or GT35 Garrett tubo. Will my UTEC be able to control this turbo or shall i say work in conjunction with it. I do not want to spend all the money on this kit only to have to sell the UTEC to go with another EM system.

The only issue will be if you want to run over 25 PSI boost. The stock MAP sensor only reads up to about 25.5 psi and it's not that accurate at that point either.

You will need a bigMAF of some sort as that turbo will overflow the MAF sensor.

Otherwise it's just going to be down to tuning.
