Has anyone tried this or does anyone this is worth trying? It seems cool and if anything, it will save me time when I change my oil, I wont have to loosen anything. But im very doubtful. What does everyone else think?

Gimmick. That's what the oil filter is for. To filter out junk. But if you want to do quick oilchanges go get a fumoto valve.

I agree. Your oil filter > magnetic plug. The only thing the plug allows you to do is see the grit, whereas the filter hides it.

Pros and cons, those were a big thing back in the 50s when not all oil got filtered. In order to get to the filter it needs to pass through the pump first so it eats the pump some, it wont hurt anything but if you are making big enough pieces to hurt stuff you have other more important issues anyway. I wouldnt bother.
