does the hi boost setting automatically come with the reflash of the ecutek, by using the defrost button, or do you have to ask them? and what range should the boost be hitting on a ecutek reflash w/ turboback+upipe and i/c hoses?

It all depends on the tuner.

I went through Rally Performance for my reflash, and it came with both maps (although I specifically asked that the second map be the exact stock map). It also is advertised to peak at 16.5 psi. I had up, dp, and ic hoses and saw ~.115 on my stock gauge.

i was hitting like 18-19 b/c of boost spike, which i think was because of the 3/16 mod i had previously done, so im going to switch that out tonight

Who did your reflash?

The reflash I had used the 3/16ths mod to reach its target boost. Without the 3/16's, it only hit .105 on my stock gauge.

I did get part throttle boost spikes, but never above .1 on the gauge. They said it was because the reflash was for a TBE with one cat, and I was catless, but I sold it before I got a chance to send it back for an updated flash.

I tried changing out the 3/16ths restrictor to eliminate my part-throttle spikes, and it lessened them, but they were still pretty severe.

well i took out the 3/16 mod last night, but its snowing so im not gonna be on boost so i wont know for a couple days to see if that was the problem
