View Full Version : clutch and flywheel what works with what?!?! scobaru 01-06-2005, 01:59 AM so FWD flywheels are different from AWD flywheels right? are you able to use a AWD for a FWD car? does this mean you'll need a AWD clutch ? I have a JDM EJ20G clutch and flywheel. would this set up work in a FWD impreza? what throw out bearing should be used? if it even works... scoobyimprza 01-06-2005, 10:23 AM Negative. One major difference; the input shaft or whatever that the TO bearing goes over. The FWD one has a smaller diameter, so you wouldn't be able to use the AWD clutch disk, and then the FWD clutch disk has a smaller diameter.
