im thinking about getting a cobb AP later on. I'm wondering what kind of exhaust would best benefit with this mod. I've also looked at the quicktime cut-off downpipe and i think thats what i would want if it gives the same amount of power as exhaust does.

I'm partial to bellmouth downpipes myself. You'll need at least a downpipe to run the AP at stage 2, you don't need any exhaust to run ap at stage 1. I would buy the AP first, and run stage 1 until you get money for a turbo back exhaust, then put it on and reflash to stage 2.

Please post in the right forum as this has nothing to do with engine management. Filling out your car in your profile would help as well.

Catbacks are just noise makers unless you already have a downpipe. As for which one it personal preference. There are lots of sounds clips available if you search.
