There is 48,000 miles on her. . . other than plugs, fuel filter and air filter,

You don't have an owners manual?

Yes I do. . .and yes I did read it.

Just like Someone has said not to wait until 60,000 miles to change plugs, I wanted to know if their was anything else That should be done.

Is their anything else I should be aware of?

Like the fuel smell when its cold. Will tightning the clamps help this issue, or do I need to buy the lengthened hoses?

Just give me some advice on hidden things that should be taken care of before it screws something else up. :D

Since you don't know how the previous owner cared for the car, replace the following:
1) oil and filter
2) brake fluid (flush system, replace fluid, bleed)
3) clutch fluid (same)
4) drain and refill radiator fluid
5) check power steering fluid level/color
6) check MT fluid level/color
