I just bought one used, and unfortunately I just started reading "problems" some people have had - maybe after the "unmarry" process. Has anyone purchased a USED Accessport and had absolutely NO problem with it? I really hope there are some out there.. otherwise I just lost a whole lot of money. :confused:

bump for a good question. i'm looking into a used AP too.

You should have no problems with a used AP as long as it was properly un-married from the car before getting shipped to you.

I sold one and the new owner had no problems. The directions aren't real clear on the un-marrying process though, and the unit doesn't give a good indication that its been performed properly. I assumed that if my boost levels were stock, it must have worked :)

if it's unmarried than you'll be fine.

Really suck if yours is not yet been divorced..

I bought mine used and it's absolutely the best purchse I've made for my car to date. It was properly unmarried by the previous owner and it came to me in perfect working condition. It was initialized to my car and flashing maps with-in hours of receiving it.
