2004 WRX STi 37,000 miles catless downpipe, utec stage 2 map. No real issues with the car until today. Today i filled up on my road trip when passing through little rock with 93 octane as always. While driving i noticed the CEL blink. After a few experiments i figured out it was doing it under high load low rpm conditions. My guess is that this is the Utec letting me know that i am getting knock. I can drive the car normally without the CEL blinking, but it does happen when i put the pedal to the floor. For example 5th gear 2000 rpm at WOT it will blink. I only saw it blink a few times. I did not hear any audible detonation. I filled up with a new tank of gas and tried again, same results. Now i am in Lousiana with no tools and no laptop because my stuff is in North Carolina. Any idears? Thanks

Long shot - water in the fuel from the first tank fill? Try gas dry product and see if it helps - cheap to try it.
