well i was trying to flash the stock map so i could bring it to the dealer and i set it up to flash and then when i check whats map its on it says stage 2 93 oct again do i need to put those connectors on to flash stock map thats the only thing i havent tried

Yes, sounds like you only switched the real-time map. Should be good enough, but you may want to reflash the base map by hooking up the connectors under the dash and reflashing the base map.

Your only going to see your base map...the AP won't show you your reltime map....so if you flashed the reltime "stock" map, you'll still see "stage 2 93 octane" when you go to check your map.

Shouldnt you switch the base map to stock as well (uninstall AP)? If the dealer decided to do some work they will invariably disconnect the battery. Once the battery is disconnected the ECU will revert back to the base map. In your case if you left the base map at stage 2 the dealer could effectively notice the stage 2 programming.

Also arent you worried about having a DP while taking your car to a dealer?

So do you run the stock map (base map, AP uninstall) when you take it in as well?
