View Full Version : True dual exhausts ?? lostsoulmusic 01-08-2005, 01:26 PM Being a pancake style engine with exhaust ports on both sides, can one have a muffler shop make a true dual exhaust system for the Impreza besides the restricting y pipe? It's the design of the unequal length header that gives you that sound. To get a true dual exhaust onto an Impreza means you have to put the exhause below the floorpan of the car. Subie Gal 01-13-2005, 10:26 PM scoobysport? yeah it's legal it's just an axle back :) you can i am sure retrofit it to a 2.2 but they dont make one for it. the one i have came from the uk was made for a uk turbo ask around and they'll tell ya they didnt make a SS for the 01 NA's i brought this one in, had my exhaust guy rotate the flange, build a custom mid pipe and weld in one more exhaust hanger $70'ish installed IIRC love my SS never giving it up :D Jamie S.G.D 01-14-2005, 12:00 PM mmmmm, scbooysport. i think my goal for this year is to buy a scoobysport exhaust. but they are blingin' what is the diameter of the pipe on your axle back Jamie? |
