They say it's the 2007 STI. Is Subaru suppose to release a new STI face for 2006?

Also just looking at the setup of this new STI, it looks very light on the front and little frisky. It looks like, it's ready to jump. :devil:

I just don't like the headlights, similar to the 350z and G35. OMO :disco:

alright that pics been circulating around for a few months now. the magazine took the new legacy lights and threw it on the current STi, made a few changes, and called it a prototype. a lotta mag's use this technique, but its not in any way confirmed. theres a more "believable" version of the 06/07 STi which doesn't look bad at all. its still not an official prototype, but a cool pic nonetheless

I don't like that. If thats the case when I graduate college and get a full time job and ****, I will be copping an 05. Not the newest model if they look like that.

eww. that thing has a mercedes coupe looking front end, and thats just hideous.

i'm not a big fan of the front grill.

I really dont like it. The headlights, the grill, and the wing for some reason looks to big for that car.maybe its just me

The front end also looks like the prototype roadster that they made a year or two ago.

Fugly, although I do like the tail lights on it, the fron end just looks a little too evo-ish and kind of reminds me of a ford focus....

that will ruin the STI that **** looks like serious dummp figured a company witsuch nice crs in the past would have a nice prototype that thing is seriously gross and noone will buy it just buy the 05 which is hot!....

i saw something on tv about that design..they were talking to the subaru design team and they said that this car is designed by the junior designers, that wanted to give the car a futuristic superhero stance or something strange like that...i doubt this car will make it to production exactly like this...

Ugh the front end dives in the front like teh EVO 8 and sorta has that similiar triangle in the front. I just think the front end looks hideous.

Agreed, what they demo, or do concept art on may hint at the final layout, but we won't know what it is until it's released in Japan ... Soon enough though from what I've been reading ...

Absolutely disgusting IMO, looks like a Saturn. The front end assembly looks stupid. The wing looks boxy and the rest of the car is not so it doesn't match at all. :mad:

Not surpised, I think Subaru is going to screw themselves over with the new look of the Tribeca, and if that same look is implemented to the Impreza's and the other cars well .... *gulp*

that front end is off the current alfa i believe... some little fugly italian or british thing. anyhow... thats a hideous beast

I'd like it if it weren't for the triangle grill and the hood lines leading to it. I really hate the triangle thing.

The 2002 wrx had to grow on me, so did the 2004, I'd imagine it will grow on most skeptics.

Nasty looking front clip. I like the cabin hmm maby becouse its unchanged sort of but the rest is NASTY oh well nothing ever looks like the first proto types so we can still hope.
