Hey guys

Im in final stage of my swap car runs is just the engine light is on
i check it and it it showed Error P1491 and P1446 after reset the P1446 went away and the first one is on and dont want to go away I checked all vacum hoses I already have up and down pipe on with 3inch Exshaust and front mount could any of these mods cause that i also have home made cell fix that seem to work. I dont get cell for cat.
The question is did anyone have P1491 code pop on their car if so what could be the solution ?

Please help

There is a list of CEL codes on here. The 1446 I believe is for the probe that is in the up-pipe so if it's not there you'll need to put in a resistor.

p1491: crank case blow by. check the sensor, if its there, if its disconected, or if your getting blowby

edit: oh, yeah, we need more info on the conditions, like what swap and such, you needed that from the beggining

 Chcked the valve and it's attached and seem to be fine I also looked around for the loose vacuum ,but nothing soom to be disconected.

As for the mods and my swap
2004 WRX engine and tranny
invida header,up pipe,down pipe,and exshaust 3"
Utec,stg2
Right now stock turbo
stock injectors,stk fuell raill
walbro fuell pump
Turboxs fmic, turboxs bow RFL,turboxs short ram intake
GFB light crank Pulley
Home made cell fix
1meg Ohm resistor and 1micro farad capacitor (as for the cell fix)

I think thats all
Everything seem to be fine except the two codes.

Has anyone have any sugestions or ideas how to get rid of these codes
maybe the resistors would work but where to install them.

Thank you guys

on 04 Rex's, there is a sensor that detects if you have blow by (gasses passing the piston rings). this is what your code means. i believe you either have blow by or a bad/missing/disconnected sensor

Hello

Thanks for info

Sorry to ask but what exactly mean blow by?
Is it that some vacuum leak or something?

Thanks a lot
