I have NO idea if the two could be related but I figured the more detail, the better. My car sat hoodless, in the rain for one night but I did cover the engine bay with a tarp. The next day I installed my FMIC, put everything back together and I have NO headlights. The fogs work and the parking lights work but no headlights. There is an occasional small flicker in the bulbs but they wont ignite.
I have the kit wired just like it came. It's a Xenon kit with Philips ballasts.
I have the splice in the fusebox for the hi-beam signal so the fogs work with the HIDs.
I have checked all(or what I think is all) fuses. I checked both relays by swapping them with the horn relay; both check out fine. I checked all wiring and I noticed that a ground came out of its plug. This is the part that plugs into the ballast. I fixed that and even tried wiggling it whille the lights were positioned on. What else can I check? I'm desperate. I need my lights:(

Did you check to make sure no water got into the headlight housing? Double check all connectors?

Yeah I checked everything I could think of. The bulbs look fine assuming "fine" is what I've read about the spots inside the bulb. I quadrouple checked all connections. I even went to the extreme of completely uninstalling the complete kit and reinstalling it. GRR.
The only thing I haven't done is to completely disable the DRLs according to some of Mulder's posts. I just unhooked the plug in the engine bay. I'm going to go take the glovebox out and unplug that 10pin plug and see if that does anything for me.

I disabled the DRLs by disconnecting the 10pin connector under the glovebox. I turned the key on, turned the lights on, and my passenger side light worked for about 10 seconds. Help. I'm lost:(

I tried one last resort and it's working as of now.
My kit uses only one of the factory, blue headlight connections.
I moved it from the convinient drivers side connector to the passenger side and my HIDs have been lit for about 5 minutes now. Let's just hope they stay on:)
Hopefully this little bit of info could help someone searching in the future.

I am having an issue with one of my lights... It turns on for less than a second and then goes out... I am not sure if it is the bulb or what...

Yeah mine are still working. Did you try using the other blue connector?
