The capability of the D-Spec adjustable shock to be such a multi-use product, results from a sophisticated piston and valving design, combined with a unique variable-aperture bypass controlled by an adjustable slide valve.

Each set includes a manual giving pointers on how to adjust the D-Spec as well as various suspension tuning tips, 4 D-Spec shocks/struts.

D-spec (damping specific) is a new extra-wide range asjustable daping system from TOKICO. The extra-wide range make it possible to use D-spec for street, auto cross, drag racing or even road racing. *
*Caution - racing on the street is both illegal and dangerous. Racing should only be done in properly organized and sanctioned events.

is the bound/rebound adjustability separate?

nope.
im thinking about getting these but havent heard many people with them yet (they came out not too long ago..)

"D-Spec adjustments change both rebound and compression damping simultaneously. Between the hard and soft settings, the D-Spec is infinitely adjustable. "

Do the D-spec shocks for the WRX use OEM style springs, and is there a fitment for the 04 WRX and STi?

Hey Zuffy, D-specs will work with any springs stock or performance, however they were designed for the WRX. :)

I was wondering I currently have kyb agx but I wish I could lower the car more than 1.5 inches with my springs. I was just wondering if you can use lowering springs that lower the car more than 1.5 inches.

Thanks,
Phil

Also interested in the Wagon. It will have to be a different part number because of the different suspension length of the wagon and the sedan.

Pretty sure they don't fit the wagon. Checked the web site and they only list one set of struts for the WRX. They have to be 10mm shorter because of the different wheelbase. Doesn't sound like much but makes a huge difference, I know, I've tried sedan struts on the wagon and it screws up your alignment. :(

That helps but you are starting off 1.5º behind.
