I have an 04 wrx sedan, ive had it for about a month and a half and ive never attempted to use the fog lights, yesterday i thought i would try em out to look cool :) . But I had a problem, they never turned on, I do everything the manual says, have the regular lights turned on but when i push the fog light switch it clicks in properly but the indicator light doesnt come on and the fogs dont come on. The odd part is I lent it to my dad for about a month when he was in between leases before i ever drove it (also he would be less tempted to go fast during the break-in period) and he claims that he used them a couple times and they worked fine. I've checked the fog and regular light fuses and they appear fine, anybody have any ideas? I'm thinking it may be a loose connection or something in the switch itself?

It's still under warranty, take it to the dealer and let them figure it out.

If they were working, i'd say loose connection somewhere. It's too new of a car for the bulbs to burn out. If you have the low beams on, and they dont come on, the bulbs & fuses are fine, it's the connections.
