so here is what happened, i got some morette hid headlights and they came without the plug an play adaptors, so i bought some male 9007 conectors and spliced them onto the morettes. the high beams work great and the low beams work with a slight glitch, when i move from high beams to low beames the drivers side light "blinks," in other words it shuts off for a second and then comes back on.

thats no the biggest problem, when i turn the deadlights off completely and the day time running lights are on, they flicker or even act like strobe lights. its seems to go in a pattern, over and over again.

have any of you had a similar problem? or know a way that i can fix this?

i guess the easiest way would be to disconnect the day time running lights but i have no clue how to do that. a little help would be great guys.

You should not run DRL's with HID's. They will cause problems. Disconnect the DRL module on the right side of the glove box. Remove the glove box and look to the right and you'll see a 10-pin connector IIRC.

1- Disable the DRLs as suggested above.
2- Disconnect the ballast negative leads from the headlight connector, and ground them directly to the chassis. This will eliminate the "glitch" when switching beams.
Make these changes immediately before you damage your ballasts and/or bulbs.
