Like our other threads, I'm attempting to keeps things as simple as possible by keeping one perpetual footwork thread going. As usual, new items will be added to this thread regularly so please check back for updates. And once again, just because it's not listed here, doesn't mean we don't have it or can't get it. Please ask if you're looking for something that's not listed.

I'll start off with brakes upgrades:

-Cryo treating is very popular with our brake upgrades. For more info, see this link:
http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/showthread.php?p=8626580#post8626580

For 2 rotors and 4 pads under 12": $52.50
For 4 rotors and 8 pads under 12": $87.50
For 2 rotors and 4 pads over 12": $75.00
For 4 rotors and 8 pads over 12": $125

-Brembo STi Sport Replacement Rotors: These rotors are the same dimensions as the OE STi rotors but they are made of a higher quality compound and come either slotted or drilled. They are not 2 piece rotors.

Front: $381.65
$431.65 cryoed
Rear: $364.65
$414.65 cryoed

-Pagid 4-2-1 HP pads for the STi: These pads are ideal for the driver who is a weekend auto-Xer or track warrior but who also uses his car on the street. They will work when cold, aren't very noisy, and are fairly rotor friendly for HP pads. They can see about 30 minutes of track time with no fade.

Front: $184
$199 cryoed
Rear: $139
$164 cryoed

-Porterfield R4S pads: An alternative to the Pagid 4-2-1 for similar type use.

STi Front: $189
$214 cryoed
STi Rear: $79
$104 cryoed

WRX Front: $119
$144 cryoed
WRX Rear: $79
$104 cryoed

-Brake packages including Goodridge SS lines, Pentosin or Ate Blue brake fluid, Pagid or Porterfield pads, and Brembo Sport Replacement rotors are available. Please PM for pricing. Thanks.

-Bilstein PSS9 Kit for the WRX 01-05: This kit utilizes inverted monotube dampers at all four corners. There are several benefits to monotubes over the more conventional (and cheaper) twin-tube design. One is increased piston diameter which allows for greater fluid displacement, in turn improving handling response and ride feel. The dampers are 9 way compression/rebound adjustable with the turn of a knob. They also use helper springs and their height adjustment is independent of the spring preload. They were designed as street coilovers for weekend track time. As such, they have excellent ride quality and are not super stiff. The spring rates are 400lbs/in (7.1kg) in the front and 370lbs/in (6.6kg) in the back.

*Because of the versatility of these dampers, the springs in this kit can be swapped for stiffer H&R springs of your choice at an additional cost.

*These coilovers can be made to fit the STi with minor modification (usually just 5mm spacers). PM if interested in this application.

$2095.00

H&R lowering springs:

-93-01 Impreza including wagon:
$280.00

-02-03 2.5RS, TS, WRX:
$250.00

-04-05 2.5RS, TS, WRX, STi:
$265

Bump for Brembos.

People: Brembos are among the best brakes in the world. Don't take it from me: go to any race (ALMS, WRC, Formula 1, DTM, etc.) and I gaurentee you the majority of the cars run Brembo brakes. There is a reason why nearly all the world's most sucessful race cars run Brembos. Yes, they are more expensive but you get what you pay for!!! Brembo has been making brakes for over 30 years and practically every major brake innovation in the last 15 years has come from Brembo (fixed monobloc calipers, vaned rotors, carbon composite rotors, floating rotors, just to name a few).

All Brembo GT Kits are designed specifically for the car that they go on. This is to make sure that the brake bias is maintained with regard to the weight distribution (and overall weight) of each car that Brembo makes a kit for. Brembo has over 30 different caliper designs (rather than just 2 or 3 like many other companies) to ensure that every appication is utilized to its fullest potential.

All Brembo GT Kits come with: Goodridges stainless steel lines, aluminum mounting hardware (much lighter than steel), high performance Ferrodo pads, high carbon drilled or slotted rotors (2 piece rotors in many cases), and billet aluminum 4 pot (sometimes 6 or 8) calipers.

This is not a pitch to say "Buy Brembo Brakes from us!" This is an attempt to educate the consumer (you) about some of the differences between brake companies and what makes Brembo brakes so good. Brembo is not for everyone but for the car enthusiast who is willing to spend some extra money to have the best on their car, Brembo is an obvious consideration.

If you're tired of reading my rant about how good Brembo is, here are some interesting facts:

-Many trains and airplanes also use Brembo brakes.

-Michael Schumacher's F1 Ferraris are equipped with Brembos.

-Brembo is the OE supplier for all Porsches, Lamborghinis, Ferraris, AMG Mercedes, the Audi RS6, the Mitsubishi Lancer Evo, The Subaru WRX STi, Ducati and Aprillia motorcycles, and countless other high performance cars.

-Brembo owns AP Racing, another of the world's top brake manufacturers.
