i have a suby and was doing some custom piping. with 80mm piping but then i was no idea what these dimensions mean on thier site. i have a choice of

(mm) (inches)
80 -140-101.6 3.15-5.5-4.0
or
80-160-114.3 3.15-6.3-4.5

i know what the 80 mean whihc is the size of the piping that connects to the muffler. but the rest i have no clue.

please help, in any advice you can. i have no idea which area of the forum to go too.

i belive that the first number is the diameter of the "intake part of canister) the second number is the diameter of the "middle part" of the muffler
and the last number is the diameter of the tip.
so if you already have 3in piping on your car then it will mate perfectly.
the last 2 numbers you dont even have to worry about.
