I've heard good things about crash bolts in the front. I just met a guy running -2.5 camber with no other mods. I was told that the "crash" bolts hadn't been authorized by Subaru as a repair and there for are not Stock class legal does anyone know either way. Thanks.

They are not stock legal for a 'plain' WRX. I assume the same holds true for a WRX STI. The bolts that come with the car are good for -1 degree or so.

Yeah i've maxed it out at -.70. I'm gonna try to message more out by the lossen pull then tighten method. I went from +.5 to -.7 an that was huge difference so I would love to get more

Camber bolts are not legal for stock use. My '04 STi went to about -1.2 in stock configuration. Camber bolts replacing the stock eccentrics give another -0.5 or so, so he must have replaced the lower non-eccentrics or something to get that much. Camber plates and bolts together will get me past -3, but that's obviously past stock.
Besides that, camber bolts WILL slip, so it's not the best tway to get more camber even though you are not running stock class.

The ones in the back have never caused me issues. But in general they'll not stick like the stock bolts unless you do something radical. If camber plates will get you where you want, do them.
