This is what they call 'auto-test'. There's a few threads around here on that video.

I dont know. :) Thats definately a UK Autotest though. The specials have 3 handbrakes, one to lock left rear, one for right rear and one for both rear brakes. :D

Its very popular over here, the hardest part is trying to remember the course as they get it drawn on paper shortly before they do the run.

He's doing what, maybe 10mph?? Not the mention, the odds of that car flipping at those speeds is not even slim to none, but more like none. :)

It's not his car flipping over that I'm worried about... , what about when he smacks something solid at 10mph. His lapbelt won't save his face.

I's the other cars there to compete that may be prone to tipping over. Without a helmet requirement.. what's to keep a mini like the one in the other video from flipping?

Cars are designed to take crashes... the US is over concerned with people crashing, hence the reason you have to wear helmets here. I can tell you with 100% confidence, I have done MUCH worse on the street than I had ever done in an autocross. Track driving (ie. road course) is another issue, where even I believe a helmet would be good, though.

That is some amazing vehicle control. That would be a lot of fun to witness in person.

Over in Europe people are alot more likely to be responsible about their own ****ups. Look at the autobahn. Dont see people doing 140mph in theri mercedes and wrecking and blaming/suing the goverment. Guy I know went over their recently. Walked right into a pro race track with his rental Mercedes(diesal ) And went to town. No license, no requirments. Nothing.
Must be nice.

And really think of headbutting a steering wheel at 10mph. Unless your a puss, worse you might get is a broke nose or a black eye.

There are plenty of irresponsible Europeans. The reason you don't hear about people suing the gov who crash at 140 mph on the autobahns is because they are usually dead.
