Well, I feel like I might be getting ripped off, but you would know better than I.

Transmission fluid replaced - $138
Coolant fluid replaced - $93.28
Engine Oil Changed - $25
Throttle Body Cleaning - $71
Rear Diff fluid replaced - $43
Paper air filter - $25

I'm just hoping they do all the work, since there is no way for me to tell whether they actually did it or not (maybe coolant/air filter check). This is the only dealership close to me, so my other option would be traveling 4 hours to go home and get it changed at the dealership where I purchased the car. It's an 04 WRX AT. Thanks for any information.

I think those are normal dealer prices.

Appreciate it. I can actually find an air filter for cheaper, so instead of the air filter I'm going to get the fuel filter replaced.

On the coolant flush, is that just a drain and fill? I only paid $34.95 for a drain and fill at the dealer. Also, why are they doing a throttle service???? Where is that mentioned in the maintenance booklet?

It's a drain and fill - guess you got a great deal. They are doing the throttle body because I've had some problems with throttle response - not even sure if it needs cleaning, but at 30k I'm sure there is some dirt in there somewhere.

If you are having a problem with throttle response, it should be covered under your warranty if you are under 36,000 miles. Even if your spark plugs "failed" under 36,000 miles, they would have to cover them under warranty. I would mention to them the concern and see what they recommend for a fix. You don't want to spend money you don't have to.

Throttle body cleaning is a common dealer "value added" service. Surprisingly enough, it usually helps! However, running Techron all of the time, and a oil catch can will make it superfluous.
