All I have left to do is finish the raised floor. The raised floor will be finished in black vinyl.

During the initial tests, there was quite a bit of resonance. It died down after I put some leftover carpet underlay I had in the box. There's still some resonance and rattling.... I've nailed that down to the rear quarter panels... Gonna have to dampen those panels.

Is you amp mounted directly to the metal floor of the trunk? I would put a piece of wood in there. Unless of course you amp has plastic or insulted mounting tabs. There can be some problems with noise when you mount the amp directly to the metal floor.

Other than that, it looks good..

PS where does you spare tire fit?

Heh... my amp is mounted with foam tape right now.

That particular section in the trunk gets super hot... I assume it's heat from the muffler. So I temporarily mounted my amp there with some foam tape to see if the amp overheats... So far no heat issues.

I'm not getting any noise at all either. I was quite lazy doing the wiring as well... my power cable is actually running on the same side as the RCA's.

I must say that it's sounding pretty darned good for pratically all stock items. Yup... I'm using the stock deck and speakers right now w/my homemade LOC. I improved the imaging by twisting the tweeter bracket so that the tweeters now point up slightly.
